Over the weekend I got a new kitty. He's a full-bred Siamese kitten who has yet been named.The decision to get another animal began about the time my dog, Toby, got sick. I have a Siamese/Tabby mix, named Akima, who was big buddies with Toby and I was concerned about how she would handle his passing. But since Katie Jo had just gotten a new dog, Akima wasn't entirely alone.

I think you should name him something unique. I am a veterinary technician and i see day after day after day the same name used over and over on all these animals! Stop naming your animals blackie or midnight or miss kitty... anyway, i think that "Kolada" or "Akeda" or something just unique is always cute. Or if you think about getting another cat or even a dog thats a male you should name one ben and one jerry! :)
Melissa, I love your new kitty! Siamese are the best. I have a bluepoint and a sealpoint, and they are the loves of my life. (In fact, I got my sealpoint lady from the same place in Jasper!) Hope you find the perfect name soon! (How about Kimchi?)
I had a Siamese cat myself and named him Sasha, that cat was the sweetest cat. What about Siam or better known is Si and Am the twin Siamese cats from Lady and the Tramp.
