eat, pray, wow
Finally, I mean, FINALLY, I took the advice of several dynamic women friends and read Elizabeth Gilbert's Eat, Pray, Love. Although it meant giving in to the Oprah hysteria over the novel, I took the plunge while on vacation last week. And wow, those women know what they're talking about... who knew? I devoured it, embraced it and I think I will read it again... starting tomorrow. I dog-eared pages and underlined passages. "Liss" is an incredible writer; funny, self-depricating, smart. I connected quickly to her joy and her sorrow. No matter what journey you are on, I fully recommend reading hers. I admire her brave spirit to break the mold, as terrifying as it must have been. I envy her travel-savvy, I hope for her language skills and I covet her depth of self-understanding.

I have that book for a week now but I just have been putting it off and being lazy. But now, I think its must read. Thanks Jenn!
I have read this book as well and was absolutely moved by the author's transparentcy and her no hold's bar sincere search for true knowing of self and the peace and joy that comes from that. I will be so blessed.
